Fusion Usage

VideoRemap supports being used as a node inside Davinci Resolve's Fusion workspace.

To use VideoRemap, simply search for the VideoRemap node and add it to your graph.

info

You can quickly search for nodes by pressing Shift+Space and typing in VideoRemap.

Unique Options

Fusion gives us control over the output resolution of the VideoRemap node. So this means that you can have different input and output resolutions. To utilize this, you have to turn on Use plugin RoD for output size option in the Settings tab of the VideoRemap node. Once that is turned on, the Output Resolution X/Y options will determine the width and height of the output resolution.

info

If the sliders do not go up to your desired resolution, double-click on the number input box and manually input your desired value.

The maximum resolution is 16,384 x 16,384 and the minimum resolution is 1 x 1 in any dimension.

As an example, say we have a 1920x1080 input to our node and we want to output 2560x1440:

  1. We'll drag in our input clip to the source of the VideoRemap node (the yellow arrow)
  2. Turn on Use plugin RoD for output size in the Settings tab of the VideoRemap node.
  3. Set the output resolution X to 2560 and Y to 1440.
  4. Drag the output of the node to our next input node.

You might also need to turn on the Fit to Mapping checkbox depending on how your input resolution in the mapping!
