Installation
- Download the installer. You can find the download in your Itch library or purchase confirmation email.
- Before launching the installer, close Davinci Resolve.
- Launch the installer and proceed with the installation. It will install the OpenFX plugin and the required libraries.
- Once the installer has finished, start Davinci Resolve.
The plugin will be available in your effects list as 'VideoRemap'. You may use it as a effect on a timeline clip or a node in Fusion.
To use VideoRemap, you will have to load a Resolume advanced mapping XML. Click on Browse File and navigate to the XML you want to load. They're usually located in Documents\Resolume Arena\Presets\Advanced Output.
The advanced mapping XML needs to be made using Resolume, otherwise it won't load.
Once an advanced mapping XML has been loaded, it's stored on the plugin instance. So you can move the XML, remove it, change it etc and it will not affect the plugin. If you wish to reload the XML with any changes, click the Reload File button and it will try to load an XML from the location it was first loaded from.
